Perennial rivers are those rivers which flow throughout the year except during extreme drought. They are found in regions with humid climate and have a constant stream flow. Non-perennial rivers are those rivers which have no flow for at least part of the year. They are found in arid regions and have seasonal fluctuations in water level.
Perennial Rivers, also known as permanent rivers, are bodies of H2O that flow continuously throughout the year, irrespective of the season. These vital waterways provide a constant source of freshwater, supporting a wide range of ecosystems & human activities & do not dry up even during dry periods.
