This paper measured some important physico-chemical properties of four selected sites from Laguna de Bay such as temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen levels, and phosphate and ammonia concentrations. Water Quality Index (WQI) utilizing Weighted Arithmetic Water Quality Index Method was also evaluated.
22 Δεκ 2017 · By employing a contingent valuation method (CVM), this paper estimates the benefits of the provision of clean water quality (swimmable and fishable) in waterbodies of Metro Manila for its residents. Face-to-face interviews were completed with 240 randomly selected residents.
This study was able to identify the water quality parameters that meet the set DENR water quality standards for Class SB water, the classification for Manila Bay. It has been found that turbidity, dissolved oxygen and total dissolved solids met the DENR values at 11.21
