8 Ιουν 2023 · The number 113 refers to the load index and corresponds to a certain weight the tire can carry safely. For example, an index of 113 can safely handle up to 2535 lbs. The letter following the number represents the speed rating – the maximum speed at which the tire can carry its load.
A tire with an H at the end of its size code means the tire is rated to run at up to 130 MPH, while a T in the same position means a speed rating of 118 MPH. To choose, consult the manufacturer’s recommendations in your manual or on the placard on the driver’s door.
