It is not a virus. The installer contains offers but they're all safe and optional. When I checked yesterday 14 out of 69 antivirus software were flagging it as possibly unsafe, which means that 55 are flagging it as safe.
Some antivirus software may give false alarms because either it doesn't know what it is or because of the advertising in the installer. However, the adverts are all optional and safe. There are no viruses. The pivotanimator.net site is the official and safe download.
