The mission of this COLA FORUM, is to restore the desperately needed Cost of Living Adjustment for retired PFRS members and their survivors. Since we have lost our COLA, 12 years ago, we have lost over 25% of the value of our pensions due to inflation, which is now at an all time high!

This bill reinstates automatic cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) for retirement benefits under the "Pension Adjustment Act" for members of the Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund, the Judicial Retirement System, the Public Employees' Retirement System, the Police and Firemen's Retirement System, and the State Police Retirement System.
