  1. Carl and Alex fishing has quickly become one of my favorite channels because they're from great Britain and its interacting to watch a totally different style of fishing, plus their editing and videography is absolutely phenomenal 10/10 quality.

  2. I'd suggest finding videos that teach the basics: hand positioning, fretting, basic theory (nothing deep, just enough to know where the notes are on the fingerboard), and how to play with a metronome, maybe major and minor and pentatonic scales.

  3. The already mentioned Josh Fossgreen, SBL, and Talking Bass are great channels with really useful lessons. I would add Mark Michell's channel (bass player for Scale the Summit). Daric Bennett also got nice lessons. And for some bass and general music stuff, the one and only Adam Neely. 74.

  4. Flukemaster – “How to” videos for days. I’d say him and TacticalBassin win for sheer volume of content. BaitmanTV – Live stream discussions, you can ask questions or browse the VODs for a topic you’re interested in and rewatch the old streams. TacticalBassin – Primarily “How to” and cool underwater videos.

  5. I want to learn to play bass as a beginner and was wondering which YouTube channel or other platform offers the best lessons. Also if you have any other tips for a beginning bass player feel free to share them.

  6. Winter is coming up and I’m looking for some good fishing content. Doesn’t have to be YouTube it can be any service. Preferably I’d be looking for people to watch that fish in the northeast, ideally on a boat so I can see how they pick spots and what not. Anyone have any good recommendations?

  7. I recommend the Texas rig, specifically a 1/4 Oz bullet weight with a zoom curly tail or a Senko. Checkout Roland Martin fishing on YouTube and look for his Texas Rig and Senko videos. Keep it simple, keep it old school, and catch a load of bass all year long without getting snagged as much.
