missingno glitch. Bug? When fighting a 'gym: equal' npc, I alt+f4'd my game on accident. When I logged back in, I noticed that my combusken in my 2nd slot wasn't leveling up. After moving it to the pc, it was replaced by missingno which immediately was followed by a crash.
MissingNo is id '000' so its the default pokemon species if something cant be read from disk. You may be able to recover some pokemon data from a backup file if pixelmon detected your save was broken. It would be world/pokemon/<your player UUID>.pk.backup if it exists.
MissingNo is our glitch/placeholder pokemon. If something goes wrong, rather than crashing it'll display as a missing no. This is usually related to lag or a corrupted save file. If it reverted to what it should be, there's nothing to worry about.

2 Σεπ 2024 · MissingNo. can be traded from Red and Blue into Pokémon Yellow, but cannot be traded forward through the Time Capsule into Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. In Yellow, MissingNo. levels down to level 1 if it gains any experience, and cannot grow any higher due to a glitched experience type.
