Pop Art is based on modern popular culture and mass media, especially as a comment on traditional fine art values. It often includes images and icons from popular media, everyday goods or any engagement with popular culture and uses vibrant and bright colors.
The first focuses on collage imagery in pop art and explains how to teach a project on pop art collages. The second gives teachers an idea of how to inspire students toward a pop art silk screening project.
