Of these 100 cities, 58 are located in the country's most populous province, Punjab, 22 in Sindh, 11 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, six in Balochistan, two in Azad Kashmir, and one in Islamabad Capital Territory.
Population. The 2017 census recorded a population of 207,684,626 living in Pakistan 's four provinces and the Islamabad Capital Territory. [3] . The census also reported that Azad Kashmir 's population stood at 4,045,367 [4] and Gilgit-Baltistan 's population was 1,492,924. [5] .

The last Population and Housing Census was launched in 2017 and various demographic indicators such as population by sex & age, religion, marital status & nationality and data on various housing characteristics were computed.
