After searching around the web for reviews of this company, it seems that they employ a lot of bad practices and in some cases borderline scammy. They buy fake reviews, and their customer support is really slow and horrible. The products they advertise are generally not what you receive.
I have never heard of the term “restocking fee scam” but now I know. They draw out orders purposefully so the customer will cancel and just pay the 25% restocking fee. I checked out thousands of amazing Tik Tok reviews before purchasing. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the Google or Reddit reviews.
They all sell very similar, if not the exact same, pieces of furniture. I’ve never heard of any of these companies before. I love the style of furniture sold but worried some or all of these companies might be scam. If you have bought from any of these companies before, please share your experience.

Check legit websites by using Google and third-party websites to read reviews of any site where you’re considering making a purchase. If you see high amounts of negative reviews; no reviews; or fake reviews, these are all bad signs. Fake reviews generally come from new or unverified accounts.
On October 1 the chair started malfunctioning, and 2 days later it stopped working totally. I emailed Homrest and their warranty is only 60 days from purchase. In essence I wasted $400 dollars for something that my mother used for less than 4 months.
