The workbook series consists of 42 learning domains and approximately 5,000 pages of text. Occasionally a user may find something that requires modification or verification for accuracy.
1 Οκτ 2024 · POST produces a wide variety of publications designed to enhance the professionalism of California law enforcement. All publications are researched and developed by work groups comprised of POST staff and subject matter resource staff. They are sanctioned by the POST Commission prior to release.
California law enforcement or dispatch agencies in the POST program, POST-certified training presenters, and presenters and students of the California basic course instructional system are allowed to copy this publication for non-commercial use.
1382-22700-24-001. REPORT WRITING. This course is designed to keep students engaged and interested in report writing. Students learn the value of a well-written report, the importance of credible well-presented data, and how to construct legally defensible reports.
The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) was established by the Legislature in 1959 to set minimum selection and training standards for California law enforcement.
