While they are in some ways opposites, they both use visual means to engage in and nurture prayer, reflection, and meditation.

Prayer #1. Dear God, I come before you as an artist, seeking your divine inspiration. Fill my mind with creativity and open my heart to receive your guidance. Help me see the beauty in every brushstroke, the melody in every note, and the story in every word.
To prepare this art work, we chose inspiring photographs to go along with these wonderful sayings from the Psalms, Gospels of the various disciples, and also from the Essene Gospels of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Like prayer, these prayer pictures were created to strengthen our connection with God.

When we admire a work of art or a marvel of nature, we discover how everything speaks to us of Him and of His love: That artists of our time, though their creativity, may help us discover the beauty of creation.”
Saying these prayers help seek guidance, vision, and the ability to channel the divine energy into artistic endeavors. With unique perspectives, these prayers express the desire to create art that touches souls, communicates emotions, and reflects the beauty of God’s creation.
