9 Μαρ 2019 · Introduction to some prominent Nepali poets prepared by Mahesh Paudyal. The famous poet who wrote these beautiful lines in Nepali language was none other than Dharanidhar Koirala. He was born at Dumja village of Sindhuli District on 4 Feb 1893. Later, he moved to Benaras in India.

Motiram Bhatta (Nepali: मोतीराम भट्ट; 1866–1896) (1923–1953 BS) was a Nepalese poet, singer, essayist, publisher, literary critic and biographer. [1][2] He is considered the first biographer and literary critic of Nepali literature and is credited for starting the first private printing press in Nepal in c. 1888. [3]

Originally he was a poet, but as a novelist he has written this book in order to depict the society of the Nepalis of Darjeeling district.
