20 Σεπ 2023 · Suspicious Review Activity Alerts warn that we’ve detected a large number of positive reviews coming from a single IP address, or reviews from users who may be connected to a group that coordinates incentivized reviews.
Yelp’s policies strictly prohibit compensated and incentivized reviews as they can mislead consumers. To help inform people’s spending decisions, we issue Consumer Alerts that appear over a business’s reviews to warn people when we discover suspicious review activity.
Yelp issued its first Consumer Alerts Report in which it details its work around detecting fraudulent reviews, including taking down review rings and closing user accounts.
No information was provided by Yelp other than a generic ‘refund denied’ email. I’ve specifically requested a copy of the transcript or other materials used for their review, but nothing has been provided and their response have been delayed or non-existent.

8 Αυγ 2023 · Contact the company directly using a phone number you know to be legitimate — not one you got from the “recruiter.” Or go to the company’s website. If you can’t confirm the job is real, it could be a scam. The FTC has resources to help you spot job scams. If you spot a scam, report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
