Wall Slides: Lie on your back with your feet against a wall and slowly slide your feet down the wall, allowing gravity to help extend the knee gently.
The exercise trains co-ordination between the vastus medialis obliquus muscle, the other knee extensors (front-thigh muscles), the hip extensors (gluteals and hamstrings) and the calf muscles.
