15 Φεβ 2023 · CINCINNATI — As officials around Ohio continue to meet with Amtrak, we're getting a new look at what the newly proposed passenger railway stops could look like.
The Eastern Extension is a six-lane, 9.9 mile segment of State Highway (SH) 190 (Loop 9), also known as State Highway (SH) 161, that stretches east from State Highway (SH) 78 in Garland and veers south to Interstate Highway (IH) 30 between Zion Road and Bass Pro Drive.
The proposed Loop 9, Segment C project begins at I-45 and ends at I-20. The need for the Loop 9 project is to address population growth, regional transportation demand, system linkages, and intermodal connections in the study area and Dallas – Fort Worth (DFW) Region. DownloadMap (PDF: 1.8Mb)

9 Ιουλ 2019 · The proposed Loop 9 project includes construction of a six-lane new location frontage road system between US 67 and IH 35E through Dallas and Ellis counties, Texas. The approximately 9.4-miles system would pass through the communities of Cedar Hill, Midlothian, Ovilla, Glenn Heights, and Red Oak.
The proposed project was evaluated as a 6-lane new location controlled access tollway with intermittent access roads between US 287 and I-20 within a 450- to 600-foot corridor depending on interchange location.
The proposed Loop 9, Segment A project includes the construction of a six-lane new location frontage road system between US 67 and Interstate Highway 35 East (IH 35E) through Dallas and Ellis counties, Texas, and is approximately 9.4 miles in length. Learn more about Segment A.
