The competition results were announced on 29 March 2023. The National Poetry Competition 2022 winners were announced at a live awards event at the Southbank Centre, London on 29 March 2023. There were over 17,800 poems submitted to the 2022 competition from 8,112 poets from 103 countries worldwide. The 2022 winners.
23 Απρ 2021 · The standard of entries in the 2021 Guernsey International Poetry Competition (Poems on the Move) was ‘dazzlingly high’, according to judge Kate Clanchy. This year’s competition, organised as part of the Guernsey Literary Festival, had a record entry of more than 2,000 poems from across the world.
31 Μαρ 2022 · Judges Fiona Benson, David Constantine and Rachel Long have awarded first prize for the National Poetry Competition 2021 to 19-year-old student Eric Yip, for his poem ‘Fricatives’.
2 Σεπ 2024 · The competition is free to enter, and no prior experience is necessary; the only thing we require is a passion for writing! The winner will receive £100, and four shortlisted poets will receive a £25 National Book Token. All five poems will be published in issue 96 of Happiful.
