17 Φεβ 2022 · Harison’s Yellow, often referred to as The Yellow Rose of Texas, actually originated in New York but made its way across the United States in the first half of the 19th century; due to its robust nature and beautiful flowers it is still widely cultivated.
Old-fashioned shrub and species roses require less maintenance than the hybrid tea, grandiflora, and floribunda roses. We maintain ours by early pruning to remove the weakest growth and older canes. This helps rejuvenate the shrub for improved flowering.
