I put a tested list at the bottom of the post to see the results. All these games are tested with the current recommended configuration. I've just received my steam deck and I am absolutely in love with it. It has constantly blown my mind to have this portable nostalgia machine in my hands with PS2 and (some) PS3 games running smoothly.

When you click on the link to Github the first link you land on will be the Home tab, this tab explains how to use the Megathread. There are Five tabs that link directly to collections based on console and publisher, these include Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Sega, and the PC.
24 Ιαν 2021 · If you want to dump it using your computer, you need to own a compatible bluray drive (not every pc bluray drive can read ps3 discs) and then you need to decrypt it. The complete guide is here: Dumping Blu-ray disc games. The emulator as all have stated is RPCS3. You should check out their Quickstart page.
19 Οκτ 2022 · If you get games from Vimm or the archive.org main file they are in folder format. If you follow the guide on RPCS3s website it will tell you where to put the folders within the folder structure the emulator creates as it mimics the folder structure of the ps3 to run games from.
5 Φεβ 2021 · It tells you all about emulation, although this was on series S. Can’t remember if they mentioned ps3 or not. Unfortunately, PS3 emulation is still not very good. The current most popular emulator takes a pretty powerful computer to run. The Series X isn't strong enough. Next generation probably.

It won't work otherwise, additionnaly, the way to install a "Package game" (that's what "PKG" means) you don't press "ADD Game", you press "Install Packages/Raps/Edats". Of course some Package game files need more files to be playable ...
Looking forward to the next gen of AMD chips for that sweet instruction set. The progress being made on this emulator is nothing short of jaw dropping. PS3 was/is so great. I recently got a slim PS3 off Amazon that I'm going to softmod soon with HEN or whatever, that should tide me over.
26 Ιαν 2023 · Well, the reason I mentioned PS3 specifically was that it was the only emulator that I felt would be of concern. I am sure that the older consoles like SNES would run on this setup, and I actually have a setup that can already handle up to PS2 (but it can't handle PS3 except for few games).

I'm about to go to the desert (just saved Oracle), and the next save point is too far for me to reach it before it freezes the game screen or just hard crash all the RPCS3. use driver wake up delay in the advanced tab in the settings put ...
Your PC is the problem. This isn't PC games you are running, this is a complex PS3 emulator running those games. You should aim for a 6c 12t CPU at the very least, the GPU is fine for RPCS3 since this emulator is CPU bound.
