This questionnaire assesses symptoms under ten subscales, which are combined into the three psychopathic personality components, namely interpersonal, affective, and behavior (9) .
Children with low scores on this screening test show typical levels of compassion, prosocial behavior, and honesty. They are not at high risk for engaging in behaviors like manipulating, exploiting, bullying, or harming others.

Abstract. This is the first study that tested the psychometric properties of the Child Problematic Traits Inventory (CPTI) in clinic-referred children (ages 6-13 years). Teachers (N = 159) and parents (N = 173) completed the CPTI and various other measures.
