Log in to CUNYfirst. Microsoft 365 / Office 365. Students (Qmail): After claiming your CUNYfirst account, all students will have access to their M365 email account (also known as Qmail) which will be used for all official college correspondence.

In some situations, emailing your class from CUNYfirst can be easier and more effective than other means. Emailing through CUNYfirst gives you quick access to a comma-delimited list of your students’ emails, which you can use to send email using your preferred email client.
Type your complete email address and password. Your new email address will be your CUNYfirst Username followed by @qmail.cuny.edu and your password is your CUNYfirst password. Note: All usernames in CUNYfirst follow this pattern: Firstname.LastnameXX, where XX are the last two digits of your CUNYfirst ID. Example: John.Smith01@qmail.cuny.edu
