The Medicare Savings Program (MSP) is a State Medicaid program that can help to pay Medicare premiums, and possibly deductibles, and coinsurance for Medicare beneficiaries (elderly or disabled) who qualify. You can apply at: https://abe.illinois.gov/abe/access/
Before applying for an MSP, you should call your local Medicaid office for application steps, submission information (online, mail, appointment, or through community health centers and other organizations), and other state-specific guidelines.

Get help from your state paying your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) premiums through a Medicare Savings Program. If you qualify, Medicare Savings Programs might also pay your Part A and Part B deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments. You’ll apply for Medicare Savings Programs through your state.

SHIPs can help beneficiaries enroll in Medicare, compare and change Medicare Advantage and Part D plans, and answer questions about state Medigap protections.
