11 Μαΐ 2020 · I tried to install the R4 operative system from http://www.r4isdhc.com/r4-download/ following tutorials from several pages and it still doesn't work; when I insert the R4 with the Micro SD on the DSi, nothing happens, I don't see any launcher or something.
20 Νοε 2024 · R4i Gold Pro is very cheap, many of us own it and no one has ever complained; as regards the 'timebomb' (limited duration of the software) just move the console date back several years, or install YSMenu (alternative software), simple but effective; all things repeated hundreds of times.
20 Νοε 2024 · You can also just go to www.linfoxdomain.com and find other R4 firmwares that I didn't post. Thank you linfoxdomain.com for uploading those firmwares. All the firmwares that I posted up are the English version. If your R4 is a R4 Clone than YSmenu and Moonshell2 for R4 will definitely work for you.

8 Νοε 2024 · From what I know it's an R4v2, I installed wood R4 on it and it works fine with my DS Lite but with my DSi it won't show up at all. My DSi has 1.4.5 installed.
R4 carts are cheap, but funky. Ones from r4isdhc.com have a "feature" where they stop working after a year unless you install an alternative firmware, but if you do install it, they are perfectly good flashcarts.
