Royal Air Force Nicosia or more simply RAF Nicosia is a former Royal Air Force station on the island of Cyprus, built in the 1930s. The station served as Headquarters Royal Air Force Cyprus from 8 June to 29 July 1941.
On the morning of 7 July 1941, the Italians twice struck RAF Nicosia, injuring five civilians (one fatally) and three servicemen (two fatally), while damaging four RAF aircraft (one destroyed). In the afternoon, there was an attack on Famagusta, but the bombs landed in the water.
On 10 May 1941 the Regiment moved to its main camp at Athaslassa, outside Nicosia. One useful piece of ordnance issued was the towed version of the 2 Pounder Anti-tank gun, of which four were issued to the Regiment. Originally the guns were towed by 15cwt Fordson WOT2C trucks.

As of 2017, approximately 270 British soldiers serve with UNFICYP on six-month tours. The British oversee Sector 2, which covers the capital Nicosia. It is traditionally the most volatile area, with frequent demonstrations.
