24 Αυγ 2011 · Raichu is useful when you have a Discharge partner, such as Thundurus or Zapdos. This is where Fake Out comes in. Their choice is a hard one. They either get one pokemon disabled for a turn and let Raichu get hit by a Discharge, giving it a boost, or double Protect and still let Raichu get a boost.

23 Ιουν 2018 · Electrium Z can be used to provide Raichu with more offensive presence by letting it use Gigavolt Havoc. While the damage output may not seem great at a first glance, Gigavolt Havoc is capable of doing massive damage after teammates like Tapu Koko used Discharge to activate Raichu's Lightning Rod.
Raichu uses either Volt Switch if a victory cannot be obtained with Raichu, or Thunder Punch. Opponent faints or reduces Raichu to 1 HP; Raichu uses Reversal (With 200 BP, an instant KO is almost Guaranteed!). Raichu continues using Reversal and Thunder Punch until it is either outsped and KOed or is Volt Switched out for more Fake Out trolling.
If you want to use Raichu viably, your best bet is in Doubles. It's actually good there with a very fast Fake Out able to outprioritize other Fake Out, and Lightning Rod completely blanking Regieleki.
