Hello, I've made a fully interactive map for the Oxbow area, using the official icons provided by Render Cube, with most of the resources and traders on it. If it's missing anything, or want me to add something new to it, make sure to mention it!
I have my settlement set up with houses and farm land on one side of the bridge then work locations on the other side near the mine. I love the separation. Another good spot is up North, East of the swamp right on the shore line. It's super flat with a mine and there's a ton of open space.
This (sort-of) guide requires some knowledge about the gauntlet and its mechanics. General advice: the more you run around without doing any action, the more time you waste. Goal for the gear: 2 tier 3 weapons, tier 2 helm and legs, tier 3 chest, 4 doses of potion, as much fish as you can get.
