Another doctor told me today that looking at that photo my gallbladder looks about 3x the size of a healthy female gallbladder... So if it was that massively inflamed I'm not sure why it took me 6 months from my ultrasound date to have it out!

It projects onto the anterior abdominal wall at the intersection of the right 9th rib and the lateral margin of the rectus abdominis muscle. Body which lies in the gallbladder fossa of the liver.
