  1. Does anyone know of any online free or cheap software that can roughly calculate the PKA of an organic compound? I'm working with a lot of synthetic cannabinoids that have a protonatable nitrogen and need roughly their PKA values.

  2. Ka = ( [H+] [A-])/ [HA]. Now take the log on both sides and divide the whole equation with -1. Then you get -log (Ka) = -log [H+] -log ( [A-]/ [HA]). This then further translates to the following equation; pH = pKa + log ( [A-]/ [HA]).

  3. To convert the Ka value of 7.1 * 10^-7 to the pKa value with no calculator, do we just assume that the power is approximately equivalent to the pKa? So for this example we would approximate the pKa to be about 7?

  4. 7 Ιουλ 2024 · This pKa calculator helps you find the pKa from pH with the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation or with acid dissociation constant (Ka) values.

  5. 29 Σεπ 2021 · Revision notes on 5.5.2 pH, Ka, pKa & Kw Calculations for the CIE A Level Chemistry syllabus, written by the Chemistry experts at Save My Exams.

  6. 22 Νοε 2023 · Calculate the K a and pK a values of 0.100 mol dm-3 ethanoic acid at 298K which forms 1.32 x 10-3 of H + ions in solution. Answer. Step 1: Write down the equation for the partial dissociation of ethanoic acid: CH 3 COOH (aq) ⇌ H + (aq) + CH 3 COO-(aq) Step 2: Write down the equilibrium expression to find K a: K a = Step 3: Simplify the ...

  7. The following examples show the different acidic/basic dissociation processes and their related calculations. Example #1. The ionisation steps of p-amino benzoic acid are outlined below. Calculated micro ionisation constants k 1, k 2, k 3 and k 4 are indicated on the arrows. Fig. 1 Ionization steps of p-amino benzoic acid
