Not from what I was seeing, but if Steam Input can capture gyro on other controllers, maybe there's a way. I'm sort of glad it doesn't because setting it up with just the capacitive touch buttons was super annoying.

Navigate with normie controller. Launch game. Turn on VR controllers. See which one isn’t working (always only one for me not both). Press and hold the PS button for six seconds, until it turns off completely (you’ll see the notification to confirm). Use normie controller to navigate back into game.

7 Αυγ 2024 · During the setup i am able to connect the left and right controller using Bluetooth. But when i have to setup the play area (in SteamVR) both controllers are not detected. SteamVR says: bluetooth not available. In the Bluetooth settings both controllers show connected.
It's likely there is some debris behind the trigger of your controller (s) which is preventing other buttons from registering correctly while you're in game (such as the buttons you mention). This is a semi-commonly reported issue with new devices, but the good news is it's very fixable.
13 Αυγ 2024 · The PSVR app detects that my psvr 2 controllers are detected but when i look at the steam vr box it says the controllers aren't currently tracked.
make sure controllers and headset are off, restart PS5, turn on both VR controllers, reset both (carefully, and the controller lights should go off), connect both controllers to the PS5 with USB cables,
