There is an IMAX theater in the Mission Valley theater but I prefer the Regal one because of the better seating. They have larger comfy seats (not reclining). As far as I know, there isn’t any IMAX w/ laser in San Diego. AMC Plaza Bonita has a nice Dolby and IMAX.
