22 Ιαν 2024 · Reliance Peach is an extremely cold hardy peach that was bred for northern climates. Considered to be one of the hardiest peach varieties, Reliance Peach fruit is typically ready for picking in mid-August in Southeast Wisconsin. The fruit is soft, sweet, and very juicy.
‘Reliance’ begins bearing fruit at an earlier age than most Peach varieties and has a pretty display of pink flowers in spring. This selection produces freestone fruits, which means the pit falls out easily when it’s cut open.
The Reliance Peach is the most cold-hardy peach tree you can get. We’ve heard, time and again, of this tree producing a heavy fruit load after a frigid northern winter. It was developed in New Hampshire, and we strongly recommend it for most areas from Zone 4 down through Zone 8.

'Reliance' produces soft pink blossoms in early spring that is followed by medium to large freestone peaches with bright yellow flesh and yellow skin blushed with red. Fruit ripens in early to mid August (USDA Zone 5).
