13 Οκτ 2010 · The Remington 40-XB centerfire rifle as factory delivered. It is made in two barrel weights and twelve calibers, from 222 to 30–338, all with guaranteed accuracy levels. Trigger pull is easily adjusted on the 40-XB by means of an Allen wrench, making removal of barreled action from stock unnecessary.
29 Νοε 2021 · In 1978 Remington added the 22 Rem BR, and in 1979 the 6mm Rem BR was added. We think this makes the 40-XB BR the first factory rifle chambered for the 6mmBR. It is important to distinguish the 40-XB BR from other 40X models. The action on the 40-XB BR was finish-machined differently -- in order to make the action straighter and more uniform.
Each M40 is built from a Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle, and is modified by USMC armorers at Marine Corps Base Quantico, using components from a number of suppliers. [1] New M40A5s are being built, and A1s are upgraded to A3s and A5s as they rotate into the armory for service and repair.

22 Φεβ 2011 · #1. My research into the Remington 40X in 22lr have been rather fun in the last couple of weeks; sadly there are videos that I can find on youtube of the rifle in action. So, I know this can be, and is by all of my research, a very accurate rifle. But how well does it range?

It was built for the growing demand for a precise range gun. This model was special production but this was before the Custom Shop was designated."
