17 Φεβ 2024 · Remington primers are specifically designed for use with smokeless powder and may not be suitable for use with black powder. Always follow appropriate safety guidelines and use the right primers for your specific type of powder.
13 Μαρ 2024 · I have been using Rem 9 1/2 Mag primers in LR applications such as .270 Win and have definitely been pleased with ES SD and accuracy. As chart shows bottom of msg but still slightly higher brisance than Fed 210's.
2 Ιουλ 2012 · Remington 7½ – The only primer specifically marketed by Remington as “benchrest” quality. Lyman & Nosler classify this as a standard primer, but Hornady, Handloads.com, and Chuck Hawks classify it as a small rifle magnum primer.
25 Ιαν 2010 · I'm running low on CCI large rifle primers and I have a friend whose got plenty of Remington large rifle primers. My current 308 load is dialed in extremely well, what velocity/pressure difference have you guys noticed when switching between these two primers?
26 Απρ 2017 · Holland, a talented shooter from the UK, tested no less than sixteen (16) different large primer types using a custom F-TR target rifle shot from the bench. Laurie loaded .308 Win ammo* with 16 LR primer varieties and then tested for average velocity, ES/SD, and group size.
21 Ιουλ 2020 · Like the .30-06 test loads, I used both standard and Gold Medal grade Federal primers, and standard and benchrest grade CCI primers. For the fifth test batch, I used Remington No. 6½ Small Rifle standard primers.
29 Δεκ 2021 · Most of my reloading manuals show CCI 200 or Federal 210s being used (some rare instances of WLR also). I am just working up hunting loads for a 6.5 creedmoor. Trying out 143 eldx, 130 sgk, and 127 lrx. If anybody has some insight on using these primers it would be appreciated if shared. Thanks.
