Replogle Saddles are designed to be “pressure fit” into the bridge slot. This refers to the process of lightly sanding and gradually adjusting the saddle width and shape slightly and only as much as needed in order to form a firm “finger tight” fit of the saddle in the bridge slot.

A drop of wood glue or super glue in the slot under the saddle will hold it in place if needed. Saddle height varies by instrument, but in general a high saddle creates the steepest string angle, providing maximum volume.
