The Reptile Zoo - Prehistoric Adventures is a spectacular small reptile zoo and store. Located on Brookhurst street in Fountain Valley Ca, just south of the 405 fwy. They have snakes, lizards, tortoises, turtles, tarantulas...everything interesting and well cared for your viewing pleasure.
Very affordable at $5 per person. Very clean and nice displays of many kinds of diff reptiles. The collection of snakes huge and small is awesome. They even have crocodiles and a big snapping turtle and huge lizards. The place is full of friendly staff and my kids got to hold a Rosy Boa and California King Snake that is native to the Inland Empire.
For a $5.00 fee, you can interact or just peek at the slimy creepy reptiles. Kids just love it. They boast the world's largest snake and a 2 headed snake. Very popular kids BD parties are held here as well. Located in a strip mall. For travelers with children - this is a great stop. Be careful - large reptiles are roaming about!
