6 Μαρ 2022 · everytime i switched to fullscreen mode in the settings, my game is going black and returning to desktop, but if i play it on windowed, everything work just fine, i've never encountered this before.
11 Απρ 2023 · The game in general has some issues with monitors that have higher resolutions and refresh rate, try downloading and installing Lyall's RE5Fix mod (first Google search result from a GitHub page), and in the .ini file, make sure you cap your FPS at 60 or 120, RE5 has serious problems with FPS above 120. #1.
Resident Evil 5 has a flawless widescreen plugin for the old GFWL DX10 version but the newer Steam Gold Edition doesn't seem to work with it and you need to downgrade to the old annoying GFWL version to be able to use it, which I rather not.
