I've played RE5 on Win 10 with no problem on my main PC and even a tablet with Intel Atom in it. Also, for the first launch I believe you need GFWL installed. Try it.
30 Απρ 2017 · Anyone using windows 10 pro or above might get an error during install. This fix worked for me by directly downloading the full GFWL installer from microsoft. Full Co-Op Support still works after installing this.

Since the XBLive servers are down, it does not download this file when you try to install it. Simply go to https://www.dll-files.com/xlive.dll.html and download the top file. Drag and drop the xlive.dll into the main folder RE5 is installed in.
