Retsina is supposed to be a local wine of Attica prefecture (broader Athens) so you mostly find a good retsina at several tavernas around Athens (although you can ask for bottled retsina anywhere in Greece). Santorini is famous for its local dry wines, but in fact no retsina contained.

My favourite retsina is Georgiadis followed by Malamatina. Then there Is Cair, and Liokri. It’s never been served warm in my experience and it’s often my first drink in Greece .
