From 1999 until 2005, he was a Senior Advisor to Capital Counsel, LLC, a firm managing approximately $1 billion in marketable securities.
Rick co-founded HEP after serving as a Senior Advisor to CBHV’s two funds. He has been active in the private equity business since 1970. He was a General Partner of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe from April 1979, shortly after the firm’s formation, until December 1998.
