Renew Your Oregon Driver's License. To renew a valid driver's license, you can appear in person at an Oregon DMV office or renew online. If you opt to renew online you will need to: Create a OR DMV account; Answer security and medical questions. Upload proof of residency (if your address has changed in the last 9 years). Pay the renewal fee.
To Get a Driver License. Determine if you want a REAL ID; Study the Oregon Driver Manual; Go to DMV2U and start the online pre-application, if you have not been issued an Oregon credential before; Visit a DMV office for standby service or make an appointment;
To switch to a REAL ID-compliant license or ID card, you need to make an appointment or visit a DMV office for standby service. When you can renew: Up to twelve months before or 2 years after your ID expires; or
