Alpine Plants for your Garden Welcome to our website. We hope that you enjoy browsing through the many beautiflul varieties of alpine and rockery plants on offer which can be found naturally in most parts of the world.
These rock garden plants are almost always hardy perennials like sedum, but beyond that they can be deciduous or evergreen; bulb or fibrous rooted; flowering, grass, fern or conifer; leafy or succulent; native or exotic; and sun- or shade-loving.
Choose from a variety of beautiful heirloom plants that are ideal for alpine gardens, rock gardens, miniature gardens, bonsai gardens, and railroad gardens. We grow most of our plants from seed and ship them to you ready to be planted outside.
Plants here include both alpine and rock plants. Alpine plants are all dwarf growing and share a number of other similar characteristics. All alpine plants need to be grown in well drained soil and preferably upraised beds. Alpines prefer acidic or peaty soil and dislike fertiliser.
Rocky areas, known as tough-to-grow sites, need plants that are heat—and drought-tolerant and can thrive in poor soils. Shop plants for rock gardens today.
Whether you’re looking for leafy foliage like grasses and ferns, or striking pops of bright colour from plants like sedums and sempervivums, we have a wide variety of options that will thrive in shade, sun or poor soil. Fill your rock gardens with drought-tolerant plants and enjoy low-maintenance displays that only get better with age.
