Placement and Assessment provides services for placement testing, placement testing waivers, some accommodated testing, credit by examination (CLEP), and Prior Learning Assessment for all RCC students to support them in the achievement of their educational goals.
To ensure that students are placed in appropriate courses, Rockland Community College will assess applicant’s skills in English and Mathematics, if they are applying for matriculation.

27 Ιαν 2024 · The College Board’s ACCUPLACER test is a standardized placement test used by 1,000+ U.S. high schools and colleges to assist with appropriate placement of incoming students. The test is designed to assess overall reading, writing, and math skills on a computer-based platform.
