As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter (Rom 8:35-36). But can the persecution, the peril, the nakedness, the sword, can these things separate me from the love of Christ?
Romans chapter 8 is one of the most blessed, encouraging and thrilling chapters in the Bible for the person who is "IN CHRIST JESUS" (compare verse 1, verse 39). The chapter begins with NO CONDEMNATION (v.1) and it ends with NO SEPARATION (verses 35-39).

9 Μαΐ 2020 · Romans 8, Romans 9, & John 6. The ‘Golden Chain’ of Romans 8:28-30 includes 1) foreknowledge, 2) predestination, 3) calling, 4) justification, and 5) glorification. Paul intentionally omits faith from this sequence because predestination is to glorification and sanctification, not to faith.
In that verse we find Paul stating that he sees two laws, or principles, at operation in his life. The law of sin works in Paul's flesh to cause death while the law of the mind or spirit delights to do the law of God.
