The PS2 Bios on the top (the mediafire link) is linked to malware. If you care enough to do a Virustotal scan, you may end up seeing that it's filled with malware. To deal with this malware, take out the hard drive (or SSD) and just buy a new one.

5 Φεβ 2024 · Okay, so I want to download this PS2 emulator. However, as soon as I get to the moment where I'm asked to select my BIOS, the list shows up empty. Now I asked a fellow from another subreddit about how to do this. He linked me to this site called Myrient.
17 Ιουλ 2022 · Then use the search function, I found it in 2 clicks after I typed 'ps2 bios' in one of the large collections that show up. It's in there, and if you can't be bothered to look then just do a normal web search like the one I linked you earlier
17 Σεπ 2022 · Treated it like all other bios files that had worked previously...extract and just copy over. So in my case, for example, it was bios\ps2\bios\(actual bios files). Opening up pcsx2 settings and changing the folder to look for the files (one level deeper) to that last folder did the trick.
