Rookie Blue: Created by Morwyn Brebner, Tassie Cameron, Ellen Vanstone. With Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Enuka Okuma, Travis Milne. Andy McNally and her friends are out of the academy and must adjust to the challenging life of a police officer at the 15th Division in Toronto.
The second season of Rookie Blue began airing on 23 June 2011 on both ABC and Global. The entire season one cast, led by Missy Peregrym, Ben Bass and Gregory Smith returned, whilst Melanie Nicholls-King continued to recur as Officer Noelle Williams.
The last three episodes of season 2 show viewers the beginning of Swarek and McNally's relationship, even though he is undercover, which leads them both to suspension for "conduct unbecoming" when they are discovered.

Casting began in June with Missy Peregrym being cast first and Gregory Smith shortly after. Production of the first season started July 14, 2009 and continued through November 2009. [5] The series was renewed for a second season on July 12, 2010, after only three episodes had aired. [6]
