Royal Marines Reserve Officers, WOs, NCOs and Marines wear the same uniform as regular RM personnel of the same rank except for the letters ‘RM’ (see Para 4016 and Chapter 45).
The policy for Colonels Commandant and Honorary Colonels uniforms is as follows: a. Colonels Commandant. On special occasions Colonels Commandant of the Royal Marines may wear the uniform of their rank on retirement or the approved alternative, which is General Officers’ uniform with Colonels’ badges of rank. b. Honorary Colonels RMR.
