14 Νοε 2009 · The RPG-29 is much more effective, with greater armor penetration, all anti-tank rounds are tandem-charge so ERA isn't all that effective, and Russia, Iran, Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah are all armed with RPG-29's. The RPG-29, unlike the RPG-7, CAN kill a modern MBT.

Modern composite armour is particularly effective against HEAT shells, as are ERA packages. So you tend to stick with high velocity penetrators made of Tungsten or depleted Uranium.
23 Μαρ 2006 · What we have here is an RPG-7D, with an OG-7V projectile, and the MP-1 sight that is special for the OG-7 series projectiles. Notice I did not say rocket- The OG-7 series has a launch motor only, which isn't a rocket, and no sustainer motor like a standard PG-7 round.
