There are Cultivation RPGs, sadly only a few are translated into English, and you're are right, it's mainly because the Fantasy world of cultivation, it's books, novels, comics, even anime is mainly in China, and you'll hardly see anyone dive into this Fantasy world because it's just not that popular outside of China, so no one will gamble on making a cultivation rpg that people won't even be ...
1 Δεκ 2022 · It's not really a typical fantasy RPG story of unity and friendship, but there is still an overarching plot to work with. Content warning of course, but it is worth looking into if you feel the same way I do regarding the desire for games that are actually good and deep but also have sex in them.
My second inspiration are the games from the Free League, which are often "high-concept" systems. High-concept for me means that they are focused on telling a specific type of story rather than being more general for a broader application, for example Free League's Alien RPG. The Core

All games I can think of have been quoted in the other comments, but I will add Souls games to the list. Even though no story is explicitely told directly to the player, if you take the time to search, observe and read, you can uncover fragments of the world's history, ehich when pieced together, retrace the whole history of the game world.
