Rukmini Vijayakumar is the artistic director of Raadha Kalpa dance company, and the director of LshVa, an art space. She is the founder of The Raadha Kalpa Method, a pedagogical system of training classical Indian and particularly Bharatanatyam dancer.

When she was making a decision about the academic path to follow, her parents threw becoming a dancer into the mix. She went to dance school and there was no turning back.

28 Σεπ 2017 · Rukmini Vijayakumar is an Indian film actress and Bharatanatyam dancer from Hyderabad. Rukmini Vijayakumar began her dance training at the age of eight, studying Bharatanatyam under Guru Narmada, Guru Padmini Rao and Guru Sundari Santhanam and then practiced the Karanas for several years under Guru Sundari Santhanam.
