Slayer reward points can be traded in to any Slayer Master for various rewards. Players can cancel or block tasks at the cost of slayer reward points. A total of 9,580 points are required in order to obtain all the rewards and blocks at least once.
Slayer Requirements. Unlike other skills, slayer is based on combat and this means that the higher your combat level, the better tasks you will have and the more experience you will gain.

I prioritize making slayer as afk as possible through block lists, QoL, and task extensions. After which, I start building out the account with items and upgrades. As others have noted, the slayer helm is a trap in almost all circumstances when first starting out.
Start by farming points using the low lvl slayer masters to knock out tasks 1-9 then on the 9th task always do best slayer master for you. This will award massage points in the end 50 for each hard task you complete and you can knock out 50 -60 every hour or so.
